A German and an American fell in love…

Not the Average Instagram Couple

Our story is not of the average couple that you find on the internet these days. You may ask yourself “How in the world did a German boy and an American girl find each other?”. Well, we believe it was fate. In March 2020, we both took a leap of faith to meet for the first time. On that first date, we both knew it was something special. Our first date was the DAY BEFORE the world locked down due to Coronavirus, how crazy is that?! The first month of our relationship Rachel spent in Arizona in quarantine with her dad while Lasse continued his job in Colorado. In Summer 2020, we moved together and spent as much time as possible traveling around the United States.

We have just announced that we will be moving to Barcelona, Spain in September! We plan on visiting places such as: Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Rachel has only been abroad once in her life, so this will be full of new experiences!

Our goal of our social media content is to showcase our relationship (we love being in love!) as well as cultural differences we find between Germany and the United States. Follow along for our journey!
